Real estate website Trulia has released a study indicating the best seasons for home buying in every U.S. state. Virginia is noted to peak in March, which is true to the local Sandbridge Beach housing market.

Summer 2012 kicked off to a great start in Sandbridge Beach. Memorial Day weekend blessed us with great weather and was capped off on Monday with the 1st Annual Memorial Day parade in Sandbridge Shores. A great time was had by all participating and viewing as the parade went from Bluebill Dr. along Tuna Lane and ended in the cul-de-sac on Wood Duck. My son is already looking forward to next year!

I had the distinct pleasure of representing Dave and Fran Dennis with the purchase of their home in Sandbridge Beach. They purchased a traditional classic beach cottage built in the 1960′s. I know they will enjoy working on this home and making it their own.

It’s 15 days and counting until Summer 2012 kicks off with Memorial Day weekend. The City is busy finishing up improvements including expansion of the parking lot behind the Sandbridge Market, improved beach access points at Pike Lane and the Market and installation of a third traffic lane (by Little Island Park)
