Sandbridge Beach has a couple of fun events coming up soon. Our local Community Church is sponsoring the 16th Annual Seafood Fest, held June 30th from 1-4pm. Also, we have the July 4th boat parade and firework show.

April has been a very welcome month to Sandbridge after a particular wet, cold and windy March at the beach. Our sand replenishment project is in full swing and they are currently working in the 3300 block.

At tonight’s monthly Sandbridge Beach Civic League meeting City of Virginia Beach officials will discuss future plans for Sandbridge Beach. After the regular meeting, local businesses will have display tables set up for everyone to browse.

Sandbridge Beach has three projects on the calendar starting in March, the beach replenishment, beach access points and the expansion of parking spaces at Little Island Park.
