April has been a very welcome month to Sandbridge after a particular wet, cold and windy March at the beach. Our sand replenishment project is in full swing and they are currently working in the 3300 block.

At tonight’s monthly Sandbridge Beach Civic League meeting City of Virginia Beach officials will discuss future plans for Sandbridge Beach. After the regular meeting, local businesses will have display tables set up for everyone to browse.

Sandbridge Beach has three projects on the calendar starting in March, the beach replenishment, beach access points and the expansion of parking spaces at Little Island Park.

Wow! It’s been a busy November. The month started off with the clean-up of Hurricane Sandy, followed by the Presidential elections and Thanksgiving holiday is next week.
