Having live in the home for 36 years made the effort, emotion and execution a little more difficult for us. Short Market Time and a Successful Closing

It’s hard to believe, but settlement on our Pintail property was only three weeks ago. And, what can we say, but thank you so much for your energy, professionalism, and willingness to work with our particular wishes – all of which led to a short market time and a successful closing.
As you recall, we had the property listed for eight months previous to our connecting with you and the results were not good. You, however, took up the challenge with gusto. Your first step was a professional photographer and a copywriter who produced a wonderful depiction of the property. Your next step was the production of an architect’s plans along with work by an interior designer to show how a relatively inexpensive remodeling and expansion of the lower deck area could truly enhance the living space. (Had we not sold the house, we were actually contemplating doing this expansion ourselves.)
In addition, your willingness to screen potential buyers to see if they were really in the market for a purchase made the time and energy we expended in preparing the property for showings worthwhile rather than wasted. Of course, the fact that there were two offers — one of which we accepted — within six weeks of placing the house on the market with you was amazing. All the way into closing you helped with last-minute communications between us and the buyers to make the entire experience very positive.

Beyond the Call of Duty
Our home buying experience with Pat Barton was exceptional. Pat was not only professional and easy to work with; he was also very accommodating and considerate during the negotiating/buying process. My wife and I were involved with a special loan for our new home that took on extra efforts in order to get the house closed! Pat was instrumental in getting our closing date pushed back 3 times in order to get all the details organized for our loan. He listened to our wants carefully and added his in-site when needed to enable us to get the house we desired!
